The actual idea behind “No More Portrait Projects” is a quite funny one.
The thing is I’m a still life photographer, so I’m not very keen on working with living subjects. So when they asked me to create a Portrait Project, I was afraid I couldn’t make it.
Instead this work came out and I was very happy about it. It’s not a real portrait project, although it features people. I focused on aesthetics as I always do, so I ended up using my subjects as they were beautiful props.
And, of course, I used color as one of my composition elements.
